MeterGlass is a light meter application for film photographers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how MeterGlass handles your information.
In short: MeterGlass does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Camera Access
MeterGlass requires access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of measuring light and calculating exposure values in real time. Camera data is:
- Processed entirely on your device
- Used only for real-time light metering calculations
- Never recorded, stored, or transmitted
- Never shared with any third party
No photos or videos are captured or saved by MeterGlass.
Data Collection
MeterGlass does not collect any data, including but not limited to:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or statistics
- Device identifiers
- Crash reports or diagnostics
Data Storage
MeterGlass stores your preferences (such as ISO setting, aperture step, default aperture, and language preference) locally on your device using standard system storage (UserDefaults). This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not accessible to the developer or any third party
- Can be removed by deleting the app
Network Access
MeterGlass does not connect to the internet. The app operates entirely offline with no network requests of any kind.
Third-Party Services
MeterGlass does not use any third-party services, including:
- Analytics platforms
- Advertising networks
- Crash reporting tools
- Cloud storage services
Children's Privacy
MeterGlass does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.
